Letter From Directors

PACT is the Pewsey Area Community Trust; a group of local people and organisations supported by the County, District and Parish Councils who are interested in improving the economic, social and environmental well-being of the Pewsey area. Not just Pewsey itself, but surrounding villages too. The group has its own constitution and can apply for funding from various bodies to carry out projects which will achieve the group's goals or to deliver the objectives stated in the Pewsey Community Area Plan.

PACT aims to empower by sustaining and invigorating the social and economic life of the Pewsey Community Area. Its remit covers a range of "themes", many of which overlap in some way.

PACT's business plan is to mirror the Pewsey Community Area Plan 2002-2012 and try and deliver on the objectives contained within it.

We are based at The PACT Centre in the High Street, the centre is part-funded by PACT.

PACT is a group of local volunteers who are trying to regenerate our community. Our objective is "To Create a Working and Living Countryside".
